Europe's Christian Identity- Deconstruction of a Myth

This lecture is part of the Public Lecture series organised by Cardiff University's Centre for the Study of Islam in the UK, in conjunction with the Cardiff Centre for Chaplaincy Studies (CCCS).
Christian H Hoffmann is deputy chairman of the Muslim Academy in Germany. He was born in Berline in 1948, and studied English and German language and literature and economics. He holds a Germany university degree (diploma) in Economics. He converted to Islamd in 1989 and adopted the name Abdul Hadi. He words in the field of PR and Communication (eg. for UNICEF in New York and Sagreb) and for private and public customers in Bangladesh, Egypt, Eritrea, Indonesia, Lebanon, Pakistan, Romania, Senegal, Turkey, and the UK. Since 2004 he has been the Director of Yousef Jameel Scholarship Progeamme. Christian Abdul Hadi Hoffmann is author and co-author of numerous books on Islam and politics.
Other projects: Establishment of a virtual museum for Islamic Art at the Ashmoleon Museum.
